Christian: Is the reason you chose Jesus because God saw how humble you were and how pure your heart was?

No Chris, in my moment of conviction of my overwhelming sinful nature, the Holy Spirit revealed to my inward man that God would save me if I surrendered my will over to him. I left my old life and he gave me a new purpose, one of service to him and to others. I am still unworthy to be his child, and can never be humble enough to justify his love for me but Jesus can and did and offered this gift of grace by using him as my substitute---Jesus is worthy and God see him in my heart and not the sin in my life.

Writing a letter to the Queen?

How do I open and close the letter? Is 'Your Majesty' rather than Dear ... ? And would the preferred ending be 'Yours faithfully' or the more archaic 'Your humble servant'?

Kpop fans, What's the great point about 2ne1?

They aren't like all other kpop girl groups. They tend to lean more towards the hip-hop side. I love 2NE1 and think they are very unique and talented. Plus, I think Bom has a very beautiful voice, but that's just my opinion (:

Shold we get Prince William to teach Obama how to salute?

I was so impressed with him during the Royal Wedding. Here he is sitting next to the most beautiful bride ever, and everytime he came upon other soldiers, he sat up straight and saluted him comrads with honor. Ever see Obama when he gets off either Airforce One, or Marine One? He barely salutes the soldier, never makes eye contact, and does some kind of dead fish thing with his hand. He's a discrace to our country.

Mislead on a will by step-mother or acting solicitor, or both?

Ok , this is going to be long. My grandfather dies in 2003, sole title deed holder on his property, left everything to his daughter (mu mum): however her step-mother ( widow), told my mum she had not been left a thing. Mum never had corresponsdance from the solicitor to explain the will: however 18 months later, step-mother calls and asks my mum is she would be happy with 50 %. Thinking she had nothing, mum agreed on the phone: again nothing from the solicitor to explain. Then mum gets a letter from the solicitor, think it was a deed of variation . asking her to sign, which she did: then gets a confirmation that she is now 50% owner. However, the original will said it was mums but step-mother had a life interest in the property, so could live there rent free but had to pay the upkeep ( as stated in the will). trust status would continue to be in force even if step- mother brought a new property. Trust was set up for the benefit of GD's children ( my mum). the solicitor who was dealing for it on behalf of the step-mother, seems to have used a verbal ok from the step-mother, to let her gain 50% of the property, but without informing my mum fully: has my mum been mislead? also, the property is now for sale, and the step-mother wants to dissolve the trust,, so mum and her get their 50% now..not comfortable with that either. any advice would be gratefully received. we are going to seek legal advice, but need something to go on. thanks
